Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

A psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) is a registered nurse who specializes in mental health care. They assess, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders and substance use disorders in patients of all ages. PMHNPs also provide psychotherapy and prescribe medication.
