About

My primary objective is to empower clients by providing effective strategies to manage their mental health in a constructive and meaningful way. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a core approach, I guide clients in addressing and reframing their daily thoughts, particularly those that impact their self-perception. A key focus of my work is helping individuals achieve a fulfilling life by minimizing intrusive or unnecessary thoughts that hinder personal growth and well-being. I strongly believe that prioritizing mental health is fundamental to leading a successful and balanced life. With 30 years of experience in the educational system, I have dedicated my career to teaching Social Emotional Learning (SEL), which encompasses critical skills such as self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision-making, social awareness, and relationship building. Through my dual roles as a social worker and therapist, I have observed firsthand the significant impact SEL competencies have on individuals' ability to lead productive, meaningful lives. These skills serve as a foundation for personal and professional success, equipping individuals to navigate challenges with resilience and confidence. My approach integrates my extensive experience in education and therapy to foster a holistic understanding of each client’s unique needs. By combining evidence-based practices with a focus on emotional intelligence, I strive to support clients in cultivating the tools they need to thrive in all aspects of their lives.
